Operations & Logistics Manager
Build scalable global logistics at Nofence. Lead projects, shape processes, support country teams, and play a key role in ERP implementation as we grow internationally.
The Operations & Logistics Manager plays a key role in strengthening and scaling Nofence’s global logistics and inventory operations in a decentralized setup. The role focuses on project management, process design, systems enablement, and cross-regional alignment, supporting country organizations that own their local logistics and P&L.
This is a senior individual contributor role with people management responsibility, combining hands-on operational work with coordination, facilitation, and continuous improvement across markets.
Key Responsibilities
Global Logistics Enablement & Alignment
Act as a central logistics and operations counterpart for country and regional teams.
Support country organizations in improving logistics setups, flows, and performance, while respecting local ownership and P&L responsibility.
Facilitate alignment across markets by sharing best practices, standards, and frameworks.
Help countries structure and execute logistics-related projects (e.g. new warehouse, new carrier, changes in distribution model).
3PL & Logistics Partner Support
Support country teams in evaluating, onboarding, and improving 3PL and warehouse partners.
Provide structure, templates, and project management support for 3PL initiatives led by country organizations.
Help define common expectations, KPIs, and review formats for logistics partners across markets.
Act as a sparring partner and escalation point for complex logistics topics.
ERP Implementation & Process Design
Act as a key operations stakeholder in ERP selection and implementation, led by the Head of Business Technology.
Represent logistics and inventory requirements in ERP design, configuration, and testing.
Define and document logistics and inventory processes, roles, and data structures.
Ensure ERP workflows support real operational needs across decentralized markets.
Support rollout, training, and adoption related to logistics and inventory processes.
Inventory Planning & Forecasting Support
Support Planning & Procurement with inventory planning and forecasting from a logistics and systems perspective.
Help translate forecasts into logistics, warehousing, and operational implications.
Ensure lead times, inventory parameters, and replenishment logic are reflected correctly in systems.
Actively identify and follow up on inventory imbalances, capacity issues, and logistics constraints, working closely with Finance to investigate inventory discrepancies and execute monthly inventory corrections.
Coordinate new product launches by ensuring all required data, documentation, and system configurations are completed and validated prior to launch.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
Lead and coordinate cross-functional logistics and operations projects.
Improve end-to-end logistics processes (order flow, returns, replenishment, exception handling).
Develop SOPs, documentation, and clear operating models to support scale.
Use data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Team Leadership
Line manager for the Logistics Coordinator.
Set priorities, routines, and escalation paths.
Drive professional development and ensure strong day-to-day execution.
Travel
Travel is expected to warehouses, logistics partners, and regional teams as needed.
Qualifications & Profile
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations in an international environment.
Strong experience working with ERP systems (implementation or major change projects).
Comfortable operating in decentralized, country-led organizations.
Strong project management and facilitation skills.
Able to balance structure and pragmatism in a growing company.
Hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working across functions and cultures.
